Emergency Generator System Upgrades

Emergency and Life Safety systems make up a significant portion of the engineering work performed by TrinityEng.

A condominium building in North York requested the completion of mechanical designs to upgrade their existing emergency generator diesel fuel system, exhaust, electrical, controls and fuel safety systems.

The intent of the project was to ensure compliance with/update to the latest TSSA code for emergency generator systems as a whole.

TrinityEng prepared the design work associated with a complete upgrade, including managing the TSSA variance requirements, including fuel tanks, fuel fill station and pumps, new exhaust system, electrical and controls.

The installation now meets current code requirements, and provides safe and reliable system operation.
